Tips

How it works

  1. Select an audio file; it is decoded and analyzed in your browser.
  2. Choose a reference target and sample-peak ceiling. Read the target note and estimated gain before preparing.
  3. Create the WAV, listen to it in the preview on the right, and download only when satisfied.

Frequently asked questions

Does this prepare a file to meet every platform’s rules?

No. Delivery targets differ and can change. Use the destination’s current specifications; this tool provides reference measurements and a constant-gain WAV.

What does the sample-peak ceiling do?

It reduces the requested gain if decoded sample peaks would exceed the selected dBFS value. It does not calculate inter-sample true peak.

Can I listen before downloading?

Yes. Prepare the WAV first, listen with the player, then use the separate Download prepared WAV link.
